We start by auditing your drilling operations, interviewing your personnel and analyzing historical operating data. If the audit shows clear potential for measurable operational efficiency improvements and ROI, we continue by following your drilling operations on site.
You then receive a detailed report with our findings and recommended actions. Based on these results, you can decide whether you want us to continue with drill-and-blast process improvement implementation.
We also offer software and equipment that support drilling process optimization.
Horizons drilling software is our own solution for daily drilling management, born from a drilling optimization project in Ghana.

With Finnish-Australian ownership, our background is split between OEM experience at factory and regional support levels, and hands-on mining and contractor experience.
This means we understand both the challenges equipment manufacturers face in supporting different customer needs and the practical realities faced by the people operating and managing equipment on site. Together, these perspectives give us a broad and practical understanding of open-pit drilling challenges. And of what it takes to solve them in real operating conditions.

Following the initial site evaluation and data review, we implemented a comprehensive optimization program covering training for offsiders, drillers, supervisors and mechanics.The program improved equipment utilization and availability, increased drilling productivity and significantly reduced rock tool consumption.It is our most comprehensive optimization program to date — and has delivered substantial operational results.
Delivering new DTH drill rigs to sites across the Pilbara region, together with introductory operator training to ensure the control systems are understood and used correctly.
Introduced new top hammer drill rigs to site and conducted Sandvik DPi simulator training to teach safe and effective operating techniques before moving to the actual equipment. A dedicated driller training program was also implemented.
